I Could Use A Little Hawaii Right Now...

As I sit typing this post about our dream vacation to Hawaii I am looking upon several inches of snow and fog thick enough to cause a three hour delay for me.  Yuck!  I need Hawaii...STAT! Lol!

Really, this summer we were given the most amazing gift of a dream vacation to Hawaii.  My parents had gone several years ago, and came back in love with the island.  Maui, to be specific.  I can't believe that it has taken this long to blog this trip, but life gets in the way and these fun tasks get pushed to the back burner.  I can't wait to share the pictures from our dream vacation!  For today, I will introduce you to our beautiful hotel, the Wailea Marriott Resort.  Paradise!

Mom and Dad made arrangements for us to have a Lei Greeting, which the kids loved!  We were soooo tired from the flight, but this kind of put the air back in our sails!

Our room...it was stunning!  So tropical, clean, and bright.  Although I have to say, we are spoiled by air conditioning.  This was the warmest room and we couldn't get it cool enough.  We finally went to Wal Mart and got a fan so we could sleep at night...lol!

The hotel restaurant.  They had an amazing breakfast buffet, which was included in the package that Mom and Dad provided for us.  This was such a luxury for us, and definitely something we wouldn't have been able to indulge in otherwise.

Beach Pics

While in the Outer Banks I took some photos of my nieces, Maddie and Grace.  It was only fair that they get a few because we took a TON of senior pictures for Amber while we were there (I can't show hers yet...she isn't ready for the big reveal yet!).  We even squeezed in a few of all the cousins.  Lots of fun!  Hawaii pictures are next!  :)

Summer Vacation - Outer Banks

This year Chuck's parents treated us all to a trip to the Outer Banks for our Christmas present.  We had so much fun planning the trip!  We had such a fun time...the house was amazing, the kids had so much fun with their cousins, and the adults got some much needed rest and relaxation!  I love that the kids are all old enough now that we can actually relax during vacations.

Grace was the only one to catch a fish.  Brock was more than willing to help out.  He used some of his tools he got from Grandma Darlene and Grandpa Howard for Christmas.
